Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan model and actress predominantly active in the Indian film industry. She was also the runner-up of the 2007 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Fernandez she is of Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial heritage she spent her entire growing up in Bahrain. The degree she earned is in mass communications from University of Sydney. She worked for many years in the field of television reporting and radio in Sri Lanka before she entered the world of modelling. She was one of Sri Lanka's top models following her participation during Miss Universe 2006. In 2009, as part of her professional travels to India, she landed the part of Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's film 'Aladin'. The film was her first big break in 2011 in which she portrayed the lead female role in Murder 2. Fernandez's career flourished after it became a critical and commercial success. Since then, she's been in films like Housefull 2 or 3, Race 2, Definition of Fear and Judwaa 2 She's the brand ambassador of numerous companies and has been awarded several honors.
