Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles lived in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at the age of six after a visit with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's coaching until 2011. Biles won a gold in the floor and bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite gymnastics in the year the year 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete just two years later. Biles was notable for her consistency in performance, vivacious personality as well as the difficulty she encountered in each of the four events such as vault, uneven bars, and the balance beam.
